What a wonderful way to spend the weekend. Saturday we drove out the Oak Glen and went Pumpkin Patching with my DH, kids and my Brother and Sister in Law. There is an area up in Oak Glen that has a bunch of little farms, and a couple big events. I think we hit them all. It was a blast. Well, almost all of it was. LOL. Before we hit the patches, we stopped at this little Mexican restaurant up there. The place had great atmosphere and a cool live band, but the service was insane. We sat there a HALF HOUR before a waitress even brought us a menu. Then when we asked her for drinks she responded "have you seen how busy I am. That is not going to happen anytime soon" *blink blink* huh?? Did this chick just say that? Finally she comes back with 4 *cans* of coke and sets them down. "I am too busy to get you fountain, so you'll have to drink from the can" (At this point I was steaming a little) then she leaves, and comes back about 15 minutes later, takes our order and leaves. Of course she didn't write anything down and when she comes back 45 MINUTES LATER, nothing is right. HAAAA. But we ate it, we were starving at that point. When we finally got done eating (mind you we asked for refills on our drinks and never got them) we asked her for the check. She said, "You were there, I didn't write it down, just go up to the hostess and tell her what you had, I am not dealing with your check on top of everything else you asked for" OMG OMG. This chick was soooo rude, I almost thought it was like that place in San Diego we ate at once where they are rude to you on purpose. LOL. I was so tempted to tell her we only had drinks and bail. HAAAAA, so we paid and bailed. What a mess. But, the rest of the day rocked, and at least it made for a fun story to tell you all. HAAA! Here are a couple of photos from the day.
